Arhthur's Day 2013: The Wanted, All American Rejects & Five For Fighting

Wow! All I can say is WOW. Hello readers, as most of you would know, there was a worldwide celebration of Arthur's Day on the 26th of September 2013 and the 27th of September 2013. Various acts were invited to please and entertain the audience on this day. But hold on, who's Arthur, you ask? Well Arthur is (I did not use Wikipedia for this, it's based on little snippets I heard from around town) the guy who invented Guinness, the same man responsible for drunk driving and deteriorating livers worldwide. That, is Arthur Guinness. So this year's concert included acts from The Wanted (I KNEW I WOULD SEE THEM AGAIN!), Five For Fighting (frankly speaking the only song I wanted to hear from and knew about was "Superman") and The All American Rejects.

At the beginning, I was a little too skeptic to actually attend this concert because of the whole alcohol issue (I don't drink alcohol by the way), but then I heard the Wanted were in on it so I figured, why not? Besides, I didn't care less about the alcohol because my one and sole reason was seeing the Wanted and All American Rejects. I love those guys to death! Uh, Oh... my inner fan-girl is coming out! Prepare yourselves for annoying over-exclamation points and CAPS!!!! Being there was an amazing experience, mainly because I was at the freaking front row! Like within breathing distance of the Wanted and All American Rejects. To me, this was a huge achievement simply because I have never been in the front row no matter how early I arrived. So this was pretty cool!

The Wanted played some of their new hits such as "Walks like Rihanna", "We Own the Night" and others. they decided to step things up a bit by singing a mash-up of songs from the Killers! How amazing is that? The All American Rejects were as usual very entertaining with Tyson Ritter being silly (there was a point whereby i questioned whether he was gay because of the way he was on stage but then i gave myself a mental kick for EVER thinking that... How insensitive of me). Five for Fighting were.... Um... Okay. I mean, they're old so they can't really compete with the young ones. Overall I'm still glad that they came and performed for us. Here are some photos of the artists. Hope you enjoy them!

The Wanted at F.O.S... aka Call me Mrs George-Kaneswaran-McGuiness

Before we begin this post, I shall warn you that this was not posted by funny, awesome and highly intellectual Jenny but it was posted by silly, excited, mindless 16 year old Jenny (What can I do? The Wanted bring out my inner child!). Good morning bloggers and welcome to the The Wanted miniseries starring the ever so handsome Nathan Sykes, the ever so naughty Jay McGuiness, the ever so sexy Max George, the ever so gorgeous Siva Kaneswaran and the ever so boring Tom Parker. Yes, Wanted fans, I have done the inevitable and I have met the naughty boys yesterday at F.O.S (www.facebook.com/factoryoutletstore for their offers/contests/and whatnot). The journey there was definitely worth it and I missed all my evening classes just so I could meet them. Despite the huge crowd we were able to make it to the middle lane and made some new friends along the way. How amazing! So less talk and more photos. The photos are not really that good but they were the best that I could take and from the angle I was in but... Enjoy!

The ever so naughty Jay McGuiness with his cute unruly curls.

The boys (Tom Parker, Max George and Jay McGuiness).. all chummy with their fans

When they were leaving the store

Siva Kaneswaran blowing me a kiss... oh  SIGH!!!

The Wonderful boys. Love you guys!

True to life posters of them outside the store

2/3 of my fave boys! :)

I spy with my little eye... Jaybird! and Maxxxxxx

The final product... their autographys!
a very satisfied customer aka MOI
Those were what I could take at that time and regardless of their turnout It was amazing! I really enjoyed seeing them. BTW, our conversation went like this (trust me, its imprinted into my mind like a tattoo):

Nathan Sykes:  Hi, hello there love! are you alright?
Me: *Nodding like a mute ape* Mhm
Nathan Sykes: That's great! You're so cute! and I love your shirt!
Me: *Stupidly saunters away nodding* Thanks!
Siva Kaneswaran: (Smiles for the first 6 seconds) Hello beautiful! How are you?
Me: *dumbfucked expression* I'm Good *clears throat* thanks!
Siva Kaneswaran: That's great! We love you yea! You got stunning eyes!
Me: *does the Mambo Number 5 in her heart*
Tom Parker: (Can i just skip this part? Not much conversation happened anyway)
Max George: Hi lovely! How are you? You've got such beautiful eyes!
Jay McGuiness: I love your eyes! They're so beautiful, hey Siva (beckons Siva) look at her eyes they're beautiful.
Siva Kaneswaran: So beautiful! Aww. she's all shy now. Hahaha
Me: *So dumbfucked I can't do anything but smile shyly at them*
Max, Jay and Siva: See you later then! Bye!

I swear to God, that was how it happened. I really wish they allowed us a picture with them, that would make my day even better! And the best part of the whole day was that SIVA KANESWARAN touched my hand when they exited. Now that is truly amazing. If they ever happen to stumble upon this blog (fingers crossed), they have to know that:

"You guys are amazing, you really sing well and your all of a different character. Max and Jay, you make the best tag team naughty pair and you're both so animated! Siva, you have the most amazing jawline every and i love the structure of your face too! Nathan you are so friendly wonderful and very cheerful and its hard not to love you! Tom, no hate bro... you are amazing in your own way just not as communicative as the others. Again, thanks for making my year. (Jay, please keep those curls xx) I love you guys! Keep making music! XOXO"

To my readers i apologise or this 16 year old child in me but she's uncontrollable and I promise to let her have this one post ;) So I hope you liked the photos. I have video of their entrances and their exits too which I hope to upload onto YouTube soon at my channel @nottychickz65 or @jennyramo. Whichever. So just look out for that ;)

The Wanted: I Definitely Want Them!

Hello Bloggers! T'is a great day today for me and it continues to be a great day as well. Why? The title says it all. Yes that's right, The Wanted have finally docked into my current town and I cannot stop acting like an overexcited 15 year old girl with a crush on her gym teacher (ew...). Remember my previous post (click on this link to see it) about The Wanted finally having their concert and that I would be going? The former was indeed true (except for the part when the concert has been changed from the 18th of September Tuesday to the 17th of September which is TONIGHT, Monday) but the latter has changed. Tickets were sold out pretty fast thanks to my procrastination and my lack of  great time-keeping plus my over zealous confidence
that I would definitely get a great ticket towards the end.

But thank GOODNESS Universal Studios felt sorry for us and provided an alternative for those who really wanted to see... erm.. The Wanted. This opportunity comes in the form of a meet and greet tomorrow (18th of September 2012) with the lads themselves (flesh and bones baby!) and getting our The Wanted Posters/Limited Edition T-Shirts/Albums signed plus a photo snapping session with them. Oh how delightful for us cheapskates!

So for now my world is content as I know exactly who I want to take photos with... *ahem* and those are... MAX GEORGE and JAY McGUINNESS! (Yes, they are the hottest and the best members of the Wanted and I am totally devoted to them :D ). So at the end of the day, I get to meet The Wanted, get my things signed and I have the opportunity to snap a bit of Jay's hair and use it to my voodoo advantage.. MWAHAHA! Just Kidding... (or am I...?)

Wanted pictures will accompany this post really soon.

O M G

Its either I've gone blind or I have met a genie and he has finally granted me my 5th wish- to see The Wanted LIVE! They are finally within stalking distance and I now have the chance to breathe the same air as them (while inhaling some of their sweat infused odor). This calls for a special edition of the Stalker Series: The Wanted coming out next week! I sense that this concert will be way better then the disaster that was Justin Bieber or the disappointment that was Beyonce (she was supposed to come but the citizens threw a huge hissy fit over it). It night even be better than *GASP* Adam Lambert! So now begins my journey of either winning the tickets or forcing myself to fish out some cash and actually buy the ticket. Ugh, what a drag! Here is the poster that caught my eye and cultivated butterflies in my stomach and swarmed bees in my empty space of a brain.

And this is why being a blogger is amazing: I get to stalk celebrities like these without getting caught. And the best part, I just have to flash my "Media" card at them and I can have my 15 minutes or drooling with them. in 3D. So as the poster states there will be three different types of tickets that can be purchased: The cheapest (and the one least likely to get you 100 feet within the Wanted) which is RM150, the moderate one (and the one that will at least grant you 5 seconds of seeing Siva's jawline, Max's baldness, Nathan's eyebrows, Tom's misshapen face and Jay's cute blonde curls) which is RM250 and the exclusive one (one that will guarantee you to be able to smell them, breathe their dead skin cells and even taste their sweat- yes that close!- and one that will burn a nasty hole n your pocket) which costs RM450. So the choice is your people!

As for me, I know exactly which ticket I will buy- the one that will allow me to snip some of Jay's hair (damn you Max for not having any hair!) and voodoo'ing him into being entirely besotted to me. I wish.   So my journey for the perfect The Wanted tickets begins and as for you all reading this, RUN to your nearest ticketmaster and grab the very best ticket! Who knows? Maybe you might be the next Mrs. the Wanted.

Peace.
